Field View

Learn how to use Field View — your home dashboard showing assigned lots, summary stats, and flag badges.

Overview

Field View is your home page in TPTM. It gives you a quick snapshot of all the lots assigned to you as a project manager, along with summary statistics that highlight items needing your attention. Think of it as your daily starting point — a single screen that tells you what to focus on today.

Field View is about your lots. To see what needs attention across every community, use Manager view, directly below Field View in the sidebar.

What Does Field View Show?

Field View is divided into three main sections:

  1. Summary stat cards at the top

  2. Assigned Lots table below

  3. Nearby lots — the lots closest to where you're standing

Summary Stats

Four stat cards appear at the top of the page:

  • Active Lots — The total number of lots assigned to you that are not on hold.

  • Overdue Tasks — The number of overdue tasks across your active lots. Displays in red when there are overdue tasks.

  • Late Walks — The number of active lots where the last walkthrough date has passed. Displays in orange when there are late walks.

  • Need Photos — The number of active lots that have no photos or whose most recent photo is more than 7 days old. Displays in yellow when there are lots needing photos.

ℹ️ Note: Summary stats exclude lots that are currently on hold. This keeps your numbers focused on the lots you can actively work on.

Assigned Lots Table

Below the summary stats, an interactive table lists every lot assigned to you. The table includes:

  • Lot — The name of the lot

  • Flags — Colored badges that highlight items needing attention

Flag Badges

Each lot can display one or more flag badges:

Flag

Color

Meaning

Hold

Red

The lot has an active hold

Walk

Orange

The last walkthrough date has passed — the lot needs a new walkthrough

Photo

Yellow

The lot has no photos or the most recent photo is more than 7 days old

Overdue

Red

The lot has one or more overdue tasks

A lot can show multiple flags at the same time (for example, both Walk and Photo).

Nearby Lots

The Nearby lots card shows the pinned lots within 1,000 feet of where you're standing, closest first — the fastest way to see what else is around you while you're out in the field.

  1. Click Show lots near me.

  2. Allow location access when your browser asks.

  3. The three closest lots appear with their distances. Click the Show more button — it names how many are left — to see the rest.

  4. Click Show map to see them plotted, along with a dot for your own position.

Unlike the rest of Field View, this card is not limited to your own lots. Any active, pinned lot in range appears, so you can spot a neighbouring lot that needs attention while you're already on that street. Your own lots are listed first, and the three collapsed rows fill with your lots before any others.

Each row shows the lot name and its community. For a lot that isn't yours, the community is followed by the responsible person — the project manager's name, Unassigned, or Another project manager when you can't see who it is. Status tags and the distance appear on the right.

Distances show in feet when you're within about a tenth of a mile, and in miles beyond that.

Message

Meaning

"No lots within 1,000 feet of you."

Lots are pinned, but none are near your current position. Move closer, or use the lots table instead.

"No lots with a location yet."

Nothing has been pinned at all. Set locations on your lots to use this card.

ℹ️ Note: Only lots that have been pinned on the map can appear here, no matter how close you are to them. See Community and Lot Locations.

How to Access Field View

Field View is the default home page when you log in to TPTM or by selecting Field View in the navigation menu.

How to Use the Table

Filtering Lots

The table includes a Filters side panel that lets you narrow down the displayed lots:

  1. Click the filter icon on the right side of the table to open the Filters panel

  2. Filter by Flags to show only lots with specific badges (e.g., only lots flagged as "Walk")

  3. Filter by Community to show lots from a specific community

  4. Filter by On Hold status to include or exclude lots that are on hold

ℹ️ Note: By default, lots on hold are hidden from the table. To see them, open the Filters panel and clear the "On Hold" filter.

Sorting Lots

Click on the Lot column header to sort lots alphabetically. Click again to reverse the sort order.

Navigating to a Lot

Click on any row in the table to go directly to that lot's detail page. This takes you to the full lot view within its community, where you can manage tasks, photos, walks, and more.

Understanding the Empty State

If you have no lots assigned to you, Field View displays a message:

No lots assigned to you yet.

All summary stat cards will show 0. Once lots are assigned to you as a project manager, they will appear here automatically.
