Manager view
See what is going wrong across every community right now — unexplained schedule delays, homes slipping out of their quarter, struggling trade partners and quiet project managers.
Overview
Manager view answers one question: across every community, what is going wrong right now?
Where Field View shows one project manager the lots they need to work today, Manager view sits a level above it. It runs four checks across your whole builder and puts the most urgent one at the top.
How to open Manager view
In the sidebar, look under Overview.
Click Manager view — it sits directly under Field View.
On a phone, tap More and choose Manager view.
How to read the page
Each check gets its own card. A card shows:
The check's name and a one-line description of what it looks for.
A coloured badge — CRITICAL (red), WARNING (amber) or CLEAR (green) — with the number of things it found.
The first 5 findings, worst first, plus a Load N more link if there are others. Each click shows 10 more and the link comes back until everything is on screen. The number on the badge is always the true total, not just what you can currently see. Very long checks stop at 200 findings — if yours does, you will see Showing 200 of N and can open the matching report for the rest.
Cards are ordered most urgent first: red, then amber, then green.
Down the left is a list of every check with a coloured dot and its count, split into Needs action and Clear. Click any entry to jump straight to that card.
ℹ️ Note: Manager view always shows every community. There is no community filter, no date range and no way to dismiss a finding — you fix it where it lives and it drops off the page.
The four checks
Schedule delays missing a reason
Red. These are schedule changes that pushed a home's projected close date later and were never explained.
Each row shows the lot and its address, the community, the current stage and the project manager, the close date before and after the change, and how many business days the delay has gone unexplained. Click a row to open that lot, then add the explanation on its activity timeline — see Lot Activity.
Two things deliberately never appear here:
Changes made today. The project manager is still working and hasn't had a day to explain them yet. If it's still unexplained tomorrow, it shows up then.
Changes that moved the close date earlier. Finishing sooner needs no justification.
Homes finishing outside the target quarter
Red. These are homes whose latest projected close date lands in a different calendar quarter than their target close date.
Each row shows the lot, its community, stage and buyer, both dates with their quarters, and how many days apart they are. The biggest slips are listed first. Click a row to open the lot.
A home only appears when the quarter itself changes. A three-week slip inside the same quarter is not listed; a one-day slip that crosses into the next quarter is.
Worst performing trade partners
Amber. This ranks your trade partners on how much schedule trouble they are creating.
Weekends and your builder's holidays are not counted against a partner. Click a row to open that trade partner. For the full picture on one partner, use the Trade Partner Performance Report.
ℹ️ Note: The list is ordered by total trouble caused — overdue work plus days of lateness — not by the average alone. That is deliberate: one job finished 20 days late should not outrank forty jobs sitting overdue right now.
Project managers with no tasks created
Amber, and green when nobody is listed. These are project managers who have at least one active lot but where no task or inspection was created on any of their lots in the last 7 days.
Each row shows the person and how many active lots they have. "Active" leaves out archived lots, lots on hold, and lots whose schedule hasn't started — so somebody who only manages parked work is never flagged. When everyone has created something, the card turns green and tells you how many project managers passed.
Rows here aren't clickable: the next step is a conversation, not a page.
Keeping the page current
The time the page last updated is shown in the header. Click Refresh next to it to re-run every check.
When a check doesn't load
Each check loads on its own, so a problem with one never takes down the page. If one fails, that card reads Failed to load and the rest keep working. Click Retry on that card to run just that check again.
On your phone
The list of checks moves above the cards instead of sitting beside them, and each row stacks top to bottom so nothing is cut off. Everything else works the same.
