Lot Details
View lot information, manage buyer details, photos, holds, and the construction timeline.
Overview
The lot detail page is your central hub for everything happening on a single lot. It shows the lot's key information, buyer details, construction stage, and quick links to photos, timeline, and holds.
โน๏ธ Automatic Walk Tracking: If you are the lot's assigned project manager and you're within 100 ft of its pinned location, opening this page records a walkthrough for today automatically. Click the Lot walk tile to see the lot's full walk history; anyone with permission to edit the lot can record a walk from there, or from the Tools menu โ Mark lot as walked. See Lot Walkthroughs.
Lot Summary
The summary section at the top displays the following details:
If the lot is archived, an Archived badge appears next to the lot name.
Location Map
If the lot has been pinned on the map, a Location card shows that pin on a small read-only map, with the exact coordinates printed next to the heading.
The card is hidden entirely when the lot has no coordinates โ there's no prompt to add them, so set the pin from the Tools menu โ Edit (requires the Lot update permission). A pinned lot also appears on the community's Map view and in Field View's Nearby lots card, and its pin is what walkthroughs are measured against. See Community and Lot Locations.
โน๏ธ Note: The map pin and the street address are separate. Setting one never fills in the other, and the Address link above uses the address only.
Walk Status
The Lot walk tile near the top of the page shows when the lot was last walked and whether it has been walked today. If your device is more than 100 ft from the lot's pin, the automatic walk is blocked and the tile offers a Walk anyway cue; if your location couldn't be read at all, the automatic walk is also blocked and nothing is recorded. In both cases the tile offers a cue that opens the walk history, where you can record the walk by hand after seeing how it will be logged.
Clicking the tile opens the lot's walk history โ every past walk newest first, with who walked it, how far they were from the lot's pin, and whether it counted as on-site. Working days with no walk show as Missed. Anyone who can see the lot can read the history; Mark lot as walked at the bottom of the window appears only if you have the Lot update permission. Full details are in Lot Walkthroughs.
Tools Menu
Lot actions live behind the โฎ button at the top-right of the lot detail page. Click it to open the Tools menu, which has the following options:
โน๏ธ Note: The โฎ button looks the same on every device โ it's never a labeled button. On a computer it opens a dropdown menu headed Tools; on a phone the same options slide up from the bottom of the screen as a panel.
How to Edit a Lot
Click the โฎ button at the top-right of the lot page.
Select Edit from the menu.
The lot editor opens with all editable fields:
Lot Name, Permit #, Date Issued for Permit, Plan #
Link to Files โ URL to external documents
Street Address
Location โ the lot's pin on the map. Click the map, drag the pin, type coordinates, or paste a "lat, lng" pair. Leave it empty if unknown.
Target Quarter โ anticipated completion quarter
Project Manager and Buyer
Start Date and Target Date
Make your changes and click Save.
How to Archive a Lot
To archive a lot that is no longer under active construction:
Click the โฎ button at the top-right of the lot page.
Select Archive from the menu.
A confirmation dialog appears showing how many incomplete tasks (tasks without a completion date) are on the lot.
Review the task count and click Archive to confirm.
โ ๏ธ Warning: Archiving a lot will also archive all incomplete tasks on the lot. Make sure all tasks are completed or reassigned before archiving.
Archived lots are hidden from the community's lots table by default. Toggle Show archived on the community page to see them again. They are also removed from the community's Map view and from Nearby lots, even if they still have a pin.
How to Unarchive a Lot
If a lot was archived by mistake or construction has resumed:
Navigate to the archived lot's detail page (toggle Show archived on the community page to find it).
Click the โฎ button.
Select Unarchive from the menu.
The lot is immediately restored and the Archived badge is removed.
Viewing Buyer Details
If a buyer is assigned to the lot, click the buyer's name in the summary to open a side drawer showing:
Name
Email โ click to send an email
Phone โ click to call
If no buyer is assigned, the field will show "None."
Lot Photos
Click View Photos in the summary to open the photo drawer. From here you can:
Browse all photos taken on the lot in a gallery view.
Upload new photos by clicking the upload button and selecting JPEG or PNG images.
โน๏ธ Note: If the lot does not have a buyer assigned, you'll see a reminder alert in the photo drawer.
Lot Holds
Schedule holds let you pause construction timelines for a lot. Open holds from the Tools menu by selecting View Holds.
Creating a Hold
Open the Tools menu โ View Holds.
Click Add New Hold.
Enter the Start Date (required), an optional End Date, and a Reason (required).
Click Create.
โน๏ธ Note: You cannot create a new hold while an active hold is in progress. End the current hold first.
Managing Holds
Existing holds are listed with their date range and reason. For each hold, you can:
Edit โ change dates or the reason.
Delete โ remove the hold (requires confirmation).
An active hold (no end date or end date in the future) triggers an alert banner at the top of the lot page showing the hold start date and reason.
Lot Timeline
Click the Timeline button to open the lot activity drawer. The timeline shows a reverse-chronological history of everything that has happened on the lot:
Stage progressions โ when the lot moved between construction stages
Tasks โ task creation, completion, and status changes
Schedule changes โ adjustments to the projected close date
Schedule holds โ when holds were placed or lifted
Photos โ lot photos with timestamps
You can also access the timeline by clicking the Stage link in the lot summary.
Active Alerts
The lot page may show alert banners at the top when action is needed:
Active Hold Alert โ appears when the lot has a schedule hold in effect, showing the hold start date and reason.
Missing Stage Activity Note โ appears if a schedule activity is missing a note and prompts you to add one.
