Lot Details
View lot information, manage buyer details, photos, holds, and the construction timeline.
The lot detail page is your central hub for everything happening on a single lot. It shows the lot's key information, buyer details, construction stage, and quick links to photos, timeline, and holds.
ℹ️ Automatic Walk Tracking: Every time you open a lot's detail page, it is automatically recorded as a walkthrough for today. No extra steps are needed.
Lot Summary
The summary section at the top displays the following details:
If the lot is archived, an Archived badge appears next to the lot name.
Tools Dropdown
The Tools button is located at the top-right of the lot detail page. Click it to open a dropdown menu with the following options:
ℹ️ Note: On mobile devices, the Tools button appears as a three-dot icon (⋯) instead of a labeled button.
How to Edit a Lot
Click the Tools button at the top-right of the lot page.
Select Edit from the dropdown.
The lot editor opens with all editable fields:
Lot Name, Permit #, Date Issued for Permit, Plan #
Link to Files — URL to external documents

Start Date and Target Date
Make your changes and click Save.
How to Archive a Lot
To archive a lot that is no longer under active construction:
Click the Tools button at the top-right of the lot page.
Select Archive from the dropdown.
A confirmation dialog appears showing how many incomplete tasks (tasks without a completion date) are on the lot.
Review the task count and click Archive to confirm.
⚠️ Warning: Archiving a lot will also archive all incomplete tasks on the lot. Make sure all tasks are completed or reassigned before archiving.
Archived lots are hidden from the community's lots table by default. Toggle Show archived on the community page to see them again.
How to Unarchive a Lot
If a lot was archived by mistake or construction has resumed:
Navigate to the archived lot's detail page (toggle Show archived on the community page to find it).
Click the Tools button.
Select Unarchive from the dropdown.
The lot is immediately restored and the Archived badge is removed.
Viewing Buyer Details
If a buyer is assigned to the lot, click the buyer's name in the summary to open a side drawer showing:
Name
Email — click to send an email
Phone — click to call
If no buyer is assigned, the field will show "None."
Lot Photos
Click View Photos in the summary to open the photo drawer. From here you can:
Browse all photos taken on the lot in a gallery view.
Upload new photos by clicking the upload button and selecting JPEG or PNG images.
ℹ️ Note: If the lot does not have a buyer assigned, you'll see a reminder alert in the photo drawer.
Lot Holds
Schedule holds let you pause construction timelines for a lot. Open holds from the Tools dropdown by selecting View Holds.
Creating a Hold
Click Tools → View Holds.
Click Add New Hold.
Enter the Start Date (required), an optional End Date, and a Reason (required).
Click Save.
ℹ️ Note: You cannot create a new hold while an active hold is in progress. End the current hold first.
Managing Holds
Existing holds are listed with their date range and reason. For each hold, you can:
Edit — change dates or the reason.
Delete — remove the hold (requires confirmation).
An active hold (no end date or end date in the future) triggers an alert banner at the top of the lot page showing the hold start date and reason.
Lot Timeline
Click the Timeline button to open the lot activity drawer. The timeline shows a reverse-chronological history of everything that has happened on the lot:
Stage progressions — when the lot moved between construction stages
Tasks — task creation, completion, and status changes
Schedule changes — adjustments to the projected close date
Schedule holds — when holds were placed or lifted
Photos — lot photos with timestamps
You can also access the timeline by clicking the Stage link in the lot summary.
Active Alerts
The lot page may show alert banners at the top when action is needed:
Active Hold Alert — appears when the lot has a schedule hold in effect, showing the hold start date and reason.
Missing Stage Activity Note — appears if a schedule activity is missing a note and prompts you to add one.
