Global Search Guide
Find and jump to any lot, community, trade partner, or work order from anywhere in TPTM with the search box or the Ctrl+K / Cmd+K shortcut.
Overview
Global Search is the search box in the header at the top of TPTM. It lets you quickly find and jump to any lot, community, trade partner, or work order in your organization from wherever you are in the app, so you don't have to click through pages to get to the one you want.
Anyone who is signed in can use it. You only see the items you already have permission to view.
How to open search
Use whichever is handiest:
Keyboard: press Ctrl + K (Windows) or Cmd + K (Mac), or press / (forward slash).
Search box: on a computer, click the Search box in the header at the top of the page.
Search button: on a phone, tap the search icon in the header, or the search button next to the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.
What you can search
Results are grouped by type. Each result shows a name and a short second line:
How to use the results
Open search and start typing. You don't need the full name — part of a name or number is enough, and capitalization doesn't matter.
Matching results appear as you type, grouped by type. Before you type anything, the items you visited most recently are listed first under Recent.
Click a result, or use the ↑ and ↓ arrow keys to highlight one and press Enter.
TPTM takes you straight to that lot, community, trade partner, or work order.
Press Escape to close search without choosing anything.
