End of the Day Text
A daily weekday text that reminds each field employee about the lots they manage that still need attention — and links to their Field View.
The End of the Day Text is a short, automatic SMS that reminds each of your field employees about the lots they manage that still need attention — before they wrap up for the day. Each person is only texted if they actually have something outstanding, and the message links straight to their Field View so they can act on it right away.
ℹ️ Where to find it: Open Settings → Notifications and look for the End of the Day Text card, alongside your other alert settings.
What the text flags
For each employee, the text adds up to three kinds of outstanding work across the active lots they manage. Only categories with a count above zero are included:
Unwalked lots — lots that were last walked on an earlier day and haven't been walked again today. (A lot that has never been walked is not counted as overdue.)
Missing photos — lots with no progress photos, or whose most recent photo is more than 7 days old.
Pay points to confirm — pay points sitting in the unconfirmed state, waiting to be confirmed.
These are the same numbers the employee sees on their Field View, so the text always matches what they'll find when they open the link.
Who receives it
There's no recipient list to manage — the audience is worked out automatically each day:
Every employee who is the assigned manager of at least one active lot is considered.
They're texted only if they have at least one unwalked lot, one lot missing photos, or one pay point to confirm.
The message goes to the mobile number on their user profile. Employees without a valid phone number are skipped.
Lots that are archived or on an active hold are left out, exactly as they are on the Field View.
What the message looks like
The text opens with a short line, lists each non-zero count (one per line), and ends with a link to the employee's Field View. With all three present it reads:

If only one category has items, only that line appears:

The link always points to that employee's own Field View, so when they tap it they're taken straight to their lots.
Turning it on
Go to Settings → Notifications and find the End of the Day Text card.
Switch the toggle on.
Choose the send hour — the time of day the text goes out, in your builder's local time zone.
Save your changes.
The text is sent on weekdays only (Monday–Friday) at the hour you choose. The feature is off by default, and the default send time is 4:00 PM.
⚠️ Permission needed: Changing this setting requires the Alerts — manage permission, typically held by Builder Admins. If you don't see the card, you don't have access to edit alert settings.
Good to know
No news, no text. Employees with nothing outstanding aren't messaged at all.
One text per day. Each person receives at most one End of the Day Text per day — no duplicates, even if the system retries.
Weekends are skipped. The text only goes out Monday through Friday.
Times are local. The send hour follows your builder's time zone.
